Studying Disciplined Agile (DA) DevOps will help us streamline IT solution development and operations through collaboration, learning, and agile practices. It will also help us close the DevOps gap between solution delivery teams and IT operations, leading to decreased deployment costs, improved mean time between deployments, and increased market competitiveness. By adopting a disciplined approach to DevOps, we can identify, share, and capture improvements, as well as support teams and organize communities of practice (CoPs)/guilds to create a culture of learning and improvement.

Introduction

The aim of DevOps is to streamline IT solution development (dev) and IT operations (ops). To close the DevOps gap, adopt a mindset that promotes collaborative and learning-centric ways of working, supported by agile practices and automation.

To continuously improve, identify and share improvements, support teams, and organize communities of practice/guilds. A learning organization that shares and celebrates learning is also critical.
